The Hiram Abif Star Map

THE HIRAM ABIF STAR MAP A number of books have recently published research on the origins of Freemasonry. One specific book that came out in 2005, ‘The Arcana of Freemasonry’ was written by a top Mason, Albert Churchward. This author uses the ‘Hiram Abif star map’ on the cover of his book and refers to it as: “The First Degree Tracing Board of Freemasonry”. Why does Wayne refer to this symbolic depiction as a ‘star map’?
